Radio phone interviews
It’s half past ten at night. You’re enjoying that last glass of wine and you get a call from a producer on the Today Programme asking if you’d be able to do a phone interview for the 06:20 business slot. He doesn’t tell you that the guest that was booked weeks ago has dropped out and you’re a last minute stand in. It could be a great opportunity to promote your company or products. It could be an even better opportunity to promote yourself as a pundit or even a thought leader. It could also be a complete disaster.
These media training sessions will show you how to:
- Establish what’s really expected of you and how to say ‘no’ if you don’t want to do it.
- Get control of at least some of the agenda and make the points you really want to make
- Simply and quickly prepare for the interview
- Cope with technical difficulties
- Speak clearly on the telephone
- Increase your chances of being invited back
